The fully automatic stack wrapping machine is designed for the horizontal wrapping of stacks of slit coils with plastic film around the stack.
With its eye vertical the stack of slit coils is loaded in the area of the wrapping machine by the conveyor system.
A cover sheet is placed on top of the stack automatically by a dedicated mechanism. The clamping / application device moves towards the stack and the film shuttle rotates around the stack, wrapping the stack.
Multiple wrappings are applied by the rotating film shuttle being lifted continuously. After the final wrap around the stack, the plastic film is cut and sealed.
