The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the vertcial strapping of wire rod coils through the coil eye. The machine is integrated in an on-site coil press.
With its eye vertical the rod coil is loaded into the coil press and is pressed.
The strapping frame with the head moves forward to the strapping position, the vertical lance is lowered and the bottom lance forwarded closing the strap channel. The strap is fed-in and the side mounted head moves towards the package for sealing.
The strapping machine is also available with two different heads for different strap qualities in one machine. In this case the strap quality to be used for the strapping has to be selected and only one strap per strapping cycle is applied.
In addition, the application of labels can be integrated in the strapping process.
