The overall dimensions of the head were reduced in all three axes. So now straps can be positioned even closer to the edges of the packages.
The strap tension was increased to forces even above 8,000N / 1,800lbf. With the TITAN interval-tensioning, this high force is equally distributed in the strap around the packages.
The cycle speed of the strapping process was increased by another 8%.
A closed loop heater blade temperature control is now a standard, featuring a higher joint efficiency of up to 90%.
Optionally, a “Refeed Function” undertakes multiple infeed attempts in case a disorder in the strap pre-feed is detected (90% of failures). The “Refeed Function” automatically returns the strap head into the strapping head, positions it exactly and undertakes a fresh infeed.
